TruckPair Terms of Service

Welcome to TruckPair. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the TruckPair platform, website, and related services.

1. About TruckPair

TruckPair operates an online marketplace that connects customers who need local transportation services with independent pickup truck drivers who may offer to perform those services.

TruckPair provides the technology platform that facilitates these connections. Unless expressly stated otherwise, TruckPair does not itself perform transportation, moving, loading, unloading, packing, or delivery services.

2. Independent Drivers

Drivers using TruckPair are independent service providers and are not employees of TruckPair. Drivers control whether they choose to submit or accept opportunities available through the platform, subject to TruckPair's platform rules and applicable law.

3. No-Touch Policy

TruckPair is designed as a transportation-only marketplace. Drivers are not required or authorized through TruckPair to enter a customer's residence or other private premises to pack, lift, carry, load, unload, assemble, or disassemble property.

Customers are responsible for arranging sufficient assistance to load items at pickup and unload items at the destination. Drivers are responsible for safely operating their vehicles and transporting accepted items in accordance with applicable law.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate information about each transportation request, including the items being transported, pickup and destination information, and other information reasonably necessary for a driver to evaluate the request.

Customers may not use TruckPair to request transportation of illegal, stolen, dangerous, hazardous, or otherwise prohibited items.

5. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers are responsible for maintaining any driver's license, vehicle registration, insurance, permits, or other qualifications required by applicable law for the services they independently agree to perform.

Drivers must provide accurate account and vehicle information and comply with TruckPair's safety and platform requirements.

6. Offers and Payments

Drivers may submit offers for transportation requests. Before payment, customers will be shown the applicable transportation price and TruckPair service fees.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. TruckPair may charge customers and drivers platform or service fees disclosed during the applicable transaction.

7. Completion Verification

TruckPair may require proof that a transportation request was completed. Payments or payouts may be delayed while completion is verified or while a dispute, payment review, or other investigation is pending.

8. Cancellations, Refunds, and Disputes

Cancellations and refunds are subject to TruckPair's applicable cancellation and refund policies. TruckPair may review disputed transactions and supporting information before determining the appropriate platform action.

9. Safety and Prohibited Conduct

Users may not use TruckPair for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, threats, unsafe conduct, transportation of prohibited items, or any activity that creates an unreasonable risk to another person or property.

TruckPair may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the platform when reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, or comply with legal obligations.

10. Property and Transportation Risk

Customers and drivers are responsible for communicating accurately about transportation requests and taking reasonable precautions to protect people and property. Responsibility for loss, damage, injury, or other claims may depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

11. Platform Availability

TruckPair does not guarantee that a driver will submit an offer, that a customer will accept an offer, or that the platform will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Account Suspension or Termination

TruckPair may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, platform policies, safety requirements, or applicable law.

13. Changes to These Terms

TruckPair may update these Terms as the platform develops. When appropriate, users may be required to accept updated Terms before continuing to use certain TruckPair services.
