TruckPair Driver Agreement
Effective Date: September 26, 2026
This Driver Agreement establishes rules and responsibilities for drivers who use the TruckPair platform to offer transportation services. By using TruckPair as a driver, you agree to comply with this Agreement, the TruckPair Terms of Service, and applicable law.
1. Driver Eligibility
Drivers must be at least 18 years old and must maintain a valid driver's license, vehicle registration, insurance, and any other license, permit, authorization, or qualification required by applicable law.
Drivers must provide accurate and current information to TruckPair. TruckPair may require verification before or during access to driver features.
2. Driver Responsibility
Drivers are responsible for determining whether they can safely and lawfully complete a transportation request before submitting or accepting an offer.
Drivers are responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, condition, and legal use of their vehicles.
3. No-Touch Policy
TruckPair is designed as a transportation-only marketplace. TruckPair does not authorize or require drivers to pack, lift, carry, load, unload, assemble, disassemble, or move a customer's property by hand, or to enter a customer's residence or other private premises for those purposes.
Customers are responsible for arranging sufficient assistance for loading and unloading.
A driver's voluntary decision to perform activity outside TruckPair's authorized transportation service does not change TruckPair's No-Touch Policy and may violate platform rules.
4. Personal Safety and Injuries
Drivers are responsible for exercising reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others while performing transportation services.
Drivers should not perform a job when conditions appear unsafe, unlawful, materially different from the customer's description, or beyond the safe capabilities of the driver or vehicle.
Accidents, injuries, threats, or significant safety incidents associated with a TruckPair transaction should be reported to TruckPair as soon as reasonably possible.
5. Vehicle and Insurance Requirements
Drivers are responsible for maintaining legally required vehicle registration and insurance and for determining whether their insurance coverage is appropriate for the transportation activity they choose to perform.
TruckPair does not represent that a driver's personal automobile insurance will cover every activity performed through the platform.
6. Property and Cargo
Drivers should inspect the visible condition and placement of items before transportation and should not knowingly transport items that cannot be safely secured or transported.
Drivers may refuse transportation when the items materially differ from the job description, cannot reasonably fit in the vehicle, cannot be safely secured, or appear unlawful or prohibited.
7. Prohibited Items
Drivers must not knowingly accept or transport prohibited items through TruckPair. Prohibited items include firearms, ammunition, explosives, hazardous materials, illegal drugs or contraband, stolen property, and any item that is unlawful to possess or transport.
Drivers are not required to inspect sealed packages or containers, but may refuse or discontinue a transportation request when they reasonably believe prohibited, dangerous, or unlawfully described items are involved. Suspected prohibited-item activity may be reported to TruckPair.
8. Offers and Accepted Jobs
Drivers choose whether to submit offers for available transportation requests. An accepted offer may create responsibilities to reasonably proceed with the agreed transportation service or appropriately cancel when completion is not possible.
Drivers must not intentionally misrepresent pricing, availability, vehicle capabilities, arrival status, or job completion.
9. Completion Evidence
TruckPair may require drivers to provide reasonable evidence that a transportation service was completed. Evidence may include photographs, timestamps, platform activity, customer confirmation, or other information relevant to the transaction.
Drivers must not fabricate, manipulate, or submit false completion evidence.
10. Payments and Payouts
Driver earnings and applicable TruckPair fees will be disclosed through the platform. Payments and payouts may be processed through third-party payment providers.
Payouts may be delayed while completion is being verified or while a transaction is subject to a dispute, payment review, suspected fraud, chargeback, safety investigation, or other reasonable platform review.
11. Fraud, Collusion, and Fake Transactions
Drivers may not create or participate in fake jobs, staged transactions, fraudulent payments, false refund requests, false completion claims, manipulated disputes, chargeback schemes, or other activity intended to improperly obtain money, credits, promotions, or other benefits.
Drivers may not coordinate with customers or other users to manipulate TruckPair's payment, fee, refund, promotion, rating, verification, or dispute systems.
TruckPair may review related accounts, transaction patterns, payment activity, and other available information when investigating suspected fraud or abuse.
12. Multiple Accounts and Circumvention
Drivers may not create or use multiple accounts to evade account restrictions, manipulate promotions, conceal prior activity, or circumvent TruckPair's rules.
13. Off-Platform Transactions
Drivers may not use information obtained through TruckPair to intentionally circumvent applicable TruckPair fees or payment requirements for a transaction initiated through the platform.
Transactions moved outside TruckPair may not have access to TruckPair's payment, verification, dispute, or support processes.
14. Customer Conduct and Unsafe Situations
Drivers are not required to remain in situations involving threats, harassment, illegal activity, unsafe conditions, prohibited items, or materially inaccurate job information.
Drivers should use appropriate emergency services when immediate assistance is necessary and may also report the incident to TruckPair.
15. Accidents and Property Damage
Drivers should promptly report significant vehicle accidents or property-damage incidents associated with a TruckPair transaction and cooperate with reasonable requests for information related to the incident.
Responsibility for an accident, injury, loss, or property damage will depend on the circumstances, applicable law, insurance coverage, and other relevant facts.
16. Independent Service Providers
TruckPair operates a technology marketplace connecting customers and drivers. Drivers are not hired to perform transportation services as employees of TruckPair merely by accessing the platform.
The legal classification of any relationship is determined by applicable law and the actual circumstances, and nothing in this Agreement is intended to override rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be waived or altered by contract.
17. Account Review and Suspension
TruckPair may restrict, suspend, investigate, or terminate driver access when reasonably necessary because of suspected fraud, safety concerns, repeated cancellations, false information, prohibited conduct, legal requirements, or violations of TruckPair policies.
18. Cooperation With Investigations
Drivers may be required to provide reasonable information relating to payment disputes, safety incidents, fraud investigations, accidents, customer complaints, or other platform matters.
19. Changes to This Agreement
TruckPair may update this Driver Agreement as the platform develops or legal and operational requirements change. Drivers may be required to accept an updated version before continuing to use driver features.
20. Contact
Questions regarding this Driver Agreement may be submitted through TruckPair's designated support or contact channels.
